Cashion, at 1,800 feet!

If you have sharp enough eyes, you can make out that this is the Cashion Schools!  The east side school bus drive is plainly visible with the flag pole in the center, as is the cafeteria, gym, bus barn, high school, and elementary school.

This is a fascinating web site that offers more than meets the eye.  You are able to zoom in to places practically anywhere in the world simply by clicking a few keys on your keyboard.  You can find the house where you grew up (I grew up in Louisiana), or scope out a tropical beach in Hawaii, or even zoom into London to find Big Ben.

My buddies sometimes play "Where In The World" games with Earth Google.  Since I have a friend in Denmark, another in New York, yet another in Minnesota, and family all over, we sometimes pick buildings of interest or peculiar land features found nowhere else but in our area, and make a game out of it...with a prize, of course!

While these are just pictures taken at one certain time (not real time pictures), they are pretty new and are upgraded frequently.  My oldest son (has anyone ever loved fishing more than Bubba?) used this site to scout out new fishing holes around Cashion that were undetectable from the road (and yes, he first got permission to fish).  Farmers can use this to get a bird's eye view of their properties, and you can zoom into your own house right here in Cashion!
